From his Edad de la Ira (Age of Wrath / Anger) series Lagrimas de Sangre (1973, Tears of Blood) is an aptly named scary black and white painting set off with red tears. It was painted for the suffering of the people like Salvador Allende, Pablo Neruda, and Victor Jara killed during the dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet.
